What We Do
We are a COVID compliant building offering a luxe studio space for all of your videography and photography needs. Our studio techs take the reign and facilitate use of our space fully outfitted with top of the line industry-standard equipment. Rates may vary.
Our Rates
Studio Rental Rates
With Tech - $150 an hour (2 hour minimum) includes one camera operator, (2) Black Magic cameras, lights, back drops, and audio kit (boom and lavalier). Additional $75 an hour for teleprompter and tech.
No Tech - $150 first hour plus $75 each additional hour (2 hour minimum) – lights and choice of one backdrop included (No camera operator, No Camera, No Mics) Professionals are allowed to bring their own gear and backdrop.
Editing Rates
$100 an hour includes editor tech. Additional $300 surcharge for ALL weekend sessions Saturday/Sunday.

About Root Branch
Media Group
Since 2006 we have served the DMV, offering services in video production, creative development, motion graphics, branded content, storyboarding, casting, cinematography, photography, sound design, graphic, and web design. We are most notably known for our Film Academy, providing film and digital media arts instruction to youth in grades K – 12 in partnership with school districts and youth organizations throughout our region. Our mission is to give students (particularly students of color) the voice they deserve and the chance to use media in a meaningful way that rewrites the narrative of how they are seen in and depicted by the media.
